RH.379 - Rear hub bearing assembly tool
Not always required, as long as all the components are well greased and the inner lips of the rear suspension arm holder are clean and spotless it is just as easy to replace the bearings and bushes using just an old shaft end (or actual shaft)
Here is what the actual beast looks like, this will set bearings and most importantly rear oil seal perfectly
I say the oil seal is the most important to set as the bearings will set themselves once the back plate is fitted and the shaft bolt tightened as the spacer sets them , but the dust seal can move easily and has been known to foul the back bearing making the shaft hard to run by hand and cause a real stink driving as it binds and melts.
At least you know what it looks like at the next auto jumble !
