Although primarilly made for the Imp Bobs jets can be retrofitted to almost any vehcile, even as a bonnet mount jet

Get some for your classic Ford, MG, Avenger, (ah choo Mini even)

Below as you can see I replaced my existing "pic-jets" with some new style ones from bob to see what the difference was like.

On Boris I already have them installed for a long time now but as a single side mounted jet. It was interesting to see how the pattern on these went as there is no vertical adjustment to speak of,

Standard jet (single) that i selected originally

Installation process is just the same, loosen off jet holder body, get in behind the jet and O ring with metallic blunt edge (i used my credit card) as it needs a firm push to free off the clips behind, the sping material is pretty strong.

Removal of existing jet (same process as standard one as clip is the same)

The new jets rhemselves have a different fixing from the other ones so need a matching jet body

The "goo" seen is just silicone based grease used to make threading and seating on the body easy for the O ring, when the car is washed the oyuter traces go but the inner protection has remained. Shows how well these seal from the outside in all weathers !

    Thats the new ones in

New spray pattern on passemger jet, standard jet on left

One comment I would make is the new jests seem to use a lot more fluid at one time, could result in less sprays needed but more likely result in a bigger washer bottle needed, the little bag inside Boris bonnett wont last long !

Please remember and let Bob know which type of jets you would like.

      Note
The single jet chrome unit has a 5mm thread , it is the only one that size, all the other types have an 8mm thread , l have stocks of single jet chrome but haven't fitted any to housings yet .
l have just made a batch of 10 cars worth , 7 sets with 8mm thread with 3 sets left unmachined should anyone want the single chrome jet which l am now allocating as a special order.
Also made a few of different design that will fit fibre glass boot lids (Petulas) also looking at fitting Marcos .
Still awaiting a delivery of coloured jets
Many thanks to John for loading this topic and all his help in my Imp related products

After a flood orders for washer jet kits completely emptied the shelf , l've made a small batch and jets just arrived so l'm up and running again on ebay with double jet
plastic and double jet chrome , need to make some more housings for single chrome jets.
4 1\2 sets , one ended up in scrap bin .
Don't hesitate to call or text if interested

I would readily consider these, if it wasn't such a pain to get to the underside of them in Stan. Ditto the wheel boxes, which I'd also like to change one day

Andy, pull the spring clip out the body panel in one go as the tube is still attached then, clamp tube to stop it falling in ?

Done a few now and never have had to get to back of hem from inside the car.

The one I did do trying to remove the plastic jet first, disaster, it snapped and the tube fell inside on drivers side at least on early cars you can get to the passenger side.

I was lucky that I could still se teh end and got a bit of steel rod in there to get it back out.

Wheelboxes, juist pain, simples. I have done that job twice now, even with a set that were sent as identical from an Imp expert, tubes were a country mile off, ended up buying somne NOS ones, jobs a good un. The new and even older NOS pattern ones are just the same.

ID:	12628 Just finished another batch, Feb2021.
Decided that l won't bother with the coloured jets , not really being able to adjust the jets as you can on all the others makes them a non starter as far as using them on Imps, still have some blue ones here should anyone still fancy giving them a try ? can always change back to the double jets if not happy.
