Just for information.
While Bob was locked up with covid he asked if I had dimensions for the bush and as the MK 1 has bnot been messed with I offered to measure it up.
Most of the ones I have replaced are usally riotted away so very surprised to see this one intact and as intedned, well until I removed it anyway
It seems to have a metal isnert over moulded in rubber on top flange and anoth in the barrel.
In addition it has a plastic cleeve inside the metal barrel which mates to the inner column.
See images, you can ignore the sizes its the complex construction that is very interesting (to me anyway)
Dont worry the green tint is the tarp over the car
