One solution for keeping crap out the transaxle top opening where the fork is. Crude but it works, on Mildred this was really dirty and covered in crud, only 1-2k miles or so. Just shows how much crap is throw up there

Neoprene layer, cut N channel out to fit around the clutch fork and big enough to cover and flank the top transaxle aperture. No more dropping ashers from the slave cylinder bolts down inside the transaxle !
