Many of you have these , i fitted both mine a good few years back .
So fitting .
Fairly easy as it happens , i found the head studs lined up fairly well and it fitted OK .
Manifold outlet pipe did need bending down a tad and it also sits a lot higher than say a Janspeed did , This means there is a limit to the silencer length otherwise it will hit the rear panel . Max silencer length is 14 inch and even then only if you cut a bit off the manifold. A 12 inch box is the ideal and no more than 4 inch in diameter , you can of course fit an oval box .
I had to make the exhaust hanger and clamp on both of mine , also rubber mounted it as . anti vibration
ALWAYS adjust the hanger to match the exhaust bracket your fitting - in other words dont try and bend the exhaust up or down to fit the bracket , that causes major stress to the bracket , box and manifold - not a good thing.
I fitted 90˚ bends as tailpipes on mine but straight will fit OK
Singers set up
Vuskys / Husky / Van set up - longer tailpipe - Singers on the right
Manifold on the engine ( Vuskys )
Home made rear hanger and rear box clamp
I used an old inner track rod end as an exhaust bracket - rubber mounted
You can see how high the box sits - hence the box length restriction
Another view of that rear hanger - the whole exhaust set up is stainless , clamp in pic was temporary
home made clamp
The set up on the Vusky / Husky / Van
