Gary, nice, its great how it makes for its own guide coat as well.

It is a shame the wetaher turned, The old gas heaters are great but always found its a humid heat, not suitable for paint, oil droplets everywhere.

Still you can get the engine built up and running, so at least the drive train will be ready to go.

If you are looking for winter projects I ahve two transaxles here that need some love

Ordered a new rear wing repair section for the stiletto.
I made a mistake when fitting the imp club rear wing ,l assumed that it was the correct shape and with no inner archers there I made the inner to fit result being the rear quarter now tapers slightly outward towards the rear arch so after talking to John decided the best result would be to fit an express panel .
I was also never happy with the arch profile it was too curved and not Sharp enough in the bends .
Should be ready for mid February .
Was surprised I didn't need to leave a deposit bearing in mind it was to order

Bummer. If its a ESP one you have ordered you will need to load the edges a bit as well, but not as bad as the club ones.

They usually take card details but do not debit the card until they send the stuff out, you will be colelcting it I would have thought ?

I do expect to load the edges don't mind that the club one came out too far and the radius was far too large , just don't think it was one of the best panels Best regards Gary

Had a good result today went to pickup some spare glass from a guy called Johnathan in Sheffield ,had it in the back of his garage for 40 years used to have a few imps. Just wanted it to go to a good home as he was moving .
came away with windscreen,rear screen, quarterlite and both rear side windows with the original rubber in quite good condition for there age I'd looked in vane for a few years for a good second hand pair so I bought some new seals last year from Frank but as you know they don't take the insert but with some careful cleaning I think I can reuse them so that the car will have the original look . which is a very good result ?

The trim around the windows makes a huge difference.
