My way of thinking is that bottom plate on oil pump could possibly be in fresh air ,or rather oil pipe joint where it meets bottom plate of pump could be in fresh air in which case air could be drawn into pump?
do you prime the pump on initial build (first start up) or does it automatically suck up from empty ?
On another score , if you could do template of BSK plate , that'd be helpful to me , it's just getting the main cap bolt positions in relation to sump bolts means alot of flaffing about setting block on mill .
