I spent more time on George the chammy, with a view to making it look "standard" except the spare wheel retaining strap which was very high tech indeed
but suits the car

The deadening I used in the engine cover looked much better, downside is it was too heavy and as it was intended for floor, kept falling down as no matter what adhesive I used it would not stay, eventually it was put on with acrylic so wont be budging again.
Yes stainless mesh will cover the exit aperture for the front Aux radiator ( Audi A3/ VW Polo heater matrix ) you can just see the cut down fluid pipes.
