Oor Wullie doesn't sit in the shop or outside anymore John. He's up at another shop in Dunbar opposite the Central chip shop with the other statues I made of John Muir and Jimmy Bain. All inside which saves me dousing them. In WD40 e ery other day.
Tonight i got some carpetting completed and figured out where I went wrong with my wiring loom extension that was blowing the main fuse.. oops!!
I have some leather balm and refurb treatment stuff coming so I coukd make the leather look a bit less lived in.
Continuing with the wiring loom as well.
Cheers

Plus in in place of blade, measure current, see what fuse rating suits best as original bike values could be wrong (lights etc)/ John

Thanks John,
A load of fuses on their way to me as I knew I'd blow a few ... I was correct. Bladed fuses yes.
The main reason was that I had mixed up the wiring in their respective blocks so blue/orange wire wasn't connecting to its buddy on the other block. A simple mistake which was easily avoided . Once sorted, I got power to the headlights.. .
All a learning curve for me.
That but of kit looks good.
Cheers

John,
After reading your advice on wiring the wiper motor I ordered two relays yesterday from Car Builder Solutions and they arrived 5 minutes ago so you know what I will be doing this weekend now .
The box of fuses also arrived along with the fuse box and shrink wrap to make it all neat an tidy.
Cheers

Thay's neat.
Would be usefull for Mercs. that drain the battery due to having a dogy thing somewhere.Patrick McGrorty
100% MK 1 just as rootes intended it, no mods, no problem

I know the E55 is the lowering module.
Lots of problems with Mercs though especially W211 where they kill the battery after sitting for a day or two.
Usually the Comand or a seat pump etc.Patrick McGrorty
