It's been a big old job in the #imp due to serious rist in the gutter rails and up the swage of the roof the decision was made to change it .
I braced it before cutting the old off and keeping the centre front pillar at it's full lenght and cutting the outer where it was originally joined it just left the inner to be cut down so access can be gained to reels the centre pillar .
The B post tops were cut flush and the rail was cut on the C post as there is no real way of fitting the roof back on top due to the way the car is built at the factory and the gutter is roll welded.
So where the roof joins the top of the C post it welded inside and on the outside where it originally had a bead of sealer it now has a beed of weld so probably stronger than when it left the factory.
It's another #imp saved which is why I do what I do tomorrow will refit the rest of the inner panels and clean back the welds thanks for checking in on the page col
