Seems we should just say the Imp has notorious rust spots all overand be done with it
The rear roof section is not where you want to have any rot. The triple seam is capped with a rear finishing strip which just clips on and the eam is almost open to the elements.
In addition the wadding from the headliner goes all the way to the back and the retainer for the headliner actually is an interference fit and jams everything against the eam, once its wet, its wet.
We were lucky here as the outer skin, which is the worst to repair is intact and wont need much.
The inner hatch area skin at the top is also OK
The uppe rear hatch skin along top of the window, not so much, the top lip is so soft it will need replaced rather than repaired.
Such is life.
