  • Body Side, sills modified coated and painted

Video attachments with my waffle on mods and coatings coming shortly

End result 2 body coloured sills.

My experiment this time is too see if its practical to actually prep and top coat the panels prior to fitting.

I targeted the sills specifically as they are a pain in the butt trying to get down there, same for the lower corners, scuttle and believe it or not, upper porting of front panel and engine cover.

Sill accomplished, the ESP sills are a great fit but the surfaces leave a lot to be desired and working on them from the flkoor, wellnot easy as we get older.

At the same time I polished up the inside of the door and did a cross mask to do a spray out of the colur which was matched to another part of the car.

Eh, no, in reality not even close, what I have will do for a top/guide coat, no proint in wasting it.

I have a new door coming so I will cut that out and give it to the paint shop.

And with a quick wipe with thinners to degrease, no paint thinners or rust treatement
