And not bad for a 60 year old fuel tank

This has been power / steam washed then kindly dipped in the acid tank care of Scott Clements who uses it for all sorts.

A bit of zinc phospate and sealer when it comes back and we will be all sorted

What's the phosphate/sealer process? Is this a DIY thing or something you send away to be done?

Pog, I actuyally cleaned most of it using a 150 bar steam wash, strips outside paint as well

Scott Clements kindly dropped it in his acid bath (cityric acid, nothing really nasty but works well !) this time round but that was a luxury .

Previously I used this for clean and seal on my last 2 chammys

Toss in some fish tank gravel, plug up holes and rotate all around, works wonders. I got 2 imnp tanks out of one kit

If someone has used a selaer or repair fluid before, you will need to step up the "nasty" a bit with some industrial paint stripper (usual suspects at DIY places are useless)

Remeber and fit one of Bob Pictons in tank filters as well when your done Petowner

Club members also get 5% discount from rustbuster.co.uk using a unique code (should have been in magazine)

This was a tank cleaned inside (left outside as wanted to keep it looking original) using the rustbuster kit and some gravel
