I am going to replace the static safety belts with retractable ones. When I look at the internet page of Securon, they recommend the type “500/45” (Singer Chamois), where the retractor must be fitted vertically. Has anyone used this type, and if so, where have you located the retractor? Another possibility is to use the original bracket, but then I have to use the type “264/30” (made for MGB?) with adjustable angle retractor. Has anyone used this type or other similar type? For sale: €1500.1969 LHD 875cc standard Sunbeam Imp ( Dutch Registered). Finally getting around to selling my Sunbeam Imp. I bought this 6 years ago. I used it for the first three but have another project in my garage, which is nearly ready for paint. The Dutch APK expired 3 years ago.
