Stirling and District Classic Car Club

Dear all, It is not without great disappointment that we have taken the difficult decision to cancel this year’s show due to the uncertainties surrounding the Corona Virus outbreak. Aside from the potential health issues that could arise from holding the show, as a club we needed to be prudent around our financial situation. It is becoming increasingly expensive to run a car show of the size of ours, with a significant level of up-front expenditure required. This outlay is recouped through entry fees on the gate, with any excess funds being donated to charity. Over the past 15 years we have been able to donate just short of £100,000 to various worthy causes.The issue for us was that we either had to cancel before any further spend was undertaken or risk going ahead. However, the Government have now put a lock-down in place with immediate effect. We hope that you understand that this decision was not taken lightly Regards Phil
