Well folks here you have it my latest fabrication and bodywork project. A ‘66 imp super. I’ve managed to save this car “destined for scrap” which was my starting point. The floors which were supposed to be solid when it was purchased simply weren’t, the cavities were full of water logged expanding foam. The replaced panel and fabricated patches list would stretch from one end of the country to the other. Due to a lack of sufficient funds no new imp panels (other than outer sills) were used only second hand panels salvaged from other donor cars, this saved the owner money but the panels required more work to make them fit nicely. the car isnt finished yet but my work on it is done, the car simply requires reassembly now that it’s a gleaming shell. From the first photo to the last I’m rather pleased.
Kind regards,
Sam
