according to my (1972) parts list there were 4 different (alloy) brackets for the generator/water-pump
my understanding is that they were: standard with dynamo; Sport with dynamo; 1969 cars with alternator and post-1969 cars with alternator
I have this bracket for my car which has an alternator fitted.
I know the casting numbers aren't same as the part numbers but does anyone know how to ID there various types?
this one differs from many I've seen in that it has a stud integrated into it
