What do folks think is the perceived wisdom regarding clutch release bearings? Having taken the engine out, I noticed the original type carbon bearing is running a bit thin. In the past I bought a roller bearing one but removed it as it scored the pressure plate really badly. Is there a better option now or should I stick to a carbon one?
