After a 2 year covid hibernation and house move, the van finally got to breathe some fresh air today. Gave it a good wash to clean away the cobwebs. Now need a battery recharge, waterpump replacement, replacement steering rack, change the fuel hose, re-grease everything, sort out the sound deadening finally, get the osr tyre reinflated and then take it for a drive in its new surroundings. The neighbours certainly seemed to like it. I'd forgotten what kind of reactions it gets. One said "Jesus Christ, you don't see those anymore" ?
