My 3rd imp is a bit of a story as the No2 was the next, but the 3rd was an shed find, when the 2nd was on a trailer coming home from Macquarie hills in NSW at Tamworth when fueling the car ready to head back to Qld when a chap also fueling his car Leant over the trailer & said AVNT seen 1 of those for years, my reply was similar but this one is heading for restoration, HIS reply was a shock as I HAVE ONE IN MY SHED HERE IN TAMWORTH & if you are interested follow me to his home, So away we went only to find a heap if every thing in the corner ! so with a all in removing all sorts of stuff we found this Mk-I in almost pristine condition, So I said we would take it & Gave him a deposit & Will come back in a few weeks to get it, as we did 15 weeks later, Finally got it home, but the No2 was well under way Then the No3 came into the restoration & 11 weeks later was What You see now & only recently sold it after a marathon trip from Qld to Canberra ACT & Return.
