Hi All, I’m the proud new owner of this 69 Husky. I joined this group when I got the car a couple of months ago and have found it a massive help in getting the Husky up and running so thanks to you all.
Car came from a house clearance in Sutton Coldfield where it had sat untouched since 1984. One owner, 31k.
I cleared the fuel line and carb and it started straight up. I’ve overhauled the brakes, put a new clutch in and took it out for the maiden voyage this weekend. Unfortunately the battery isn’t charging so that’s the next job.
I’ve probably done just 30 miles in the last 3 days (including visits to 2 pubs!)and already made 6 new friends, learned more about imps, had photos taken and one guy knocked on my door for a chat after seeing it on the front.
I’m sure I’ll have plenty of questions to post over the coming months, but for now there’s one thing that’s totally doing my head in!! What are the holes for each side of the rear windows??
