We need an expert to restore our Imp. For the first time today got a good long look around the car with a mobile welder, prodding and poking the rusty bits.
In short, to be polite, the previous owner's son could have done a better job. It has front Fiesta arches fitted to the rear, badly, and not smoothed in around the swage lines. The rear floor, especially on the passenger side is beginning to go. One rear sill has had the outer removed and the inner bodged in. The other sill has been replaced but given all the other "repairs" at the very least it needs checking to make sure it's done well enough. On this side, the rear wing hasn't been attached and there's some of the outer sill missing too.
So, current plan is to buy rear floor, both sills and both arches from Express Steel and get it over to one of the experts to have the whole area redone. "Do it once, do it right!"
Who's got availability? What kind of timescales are you running to? I'm expecting months to be realistic. I know Express Steel are around 6-8 weeks on a good day. TBH I don't care much about location as there's a fair amount of work and I think transport will be a small part of it.
