Lucky enough to have a Singer Chamois and want to get it stripped back, repaired and painted. Know it’s got a couple of rust spots (front left corner under the fuel tank vent pipe and rear inner arch/battery tray). Other than that it’s pretty good but has lots of paint and underseal.
Reading lots of horror stories on dipping. What’s the recommendation from the experts? Dip/blast, what type of blast, when to weld, and what to put on before paint? Seems like there’s more options now than when I first started looking nearly 20 years ago.
Also, if anyone knows of any garage space around south glos/glos that’d be good.
