Ok, here's one for the techies out there. Sport cam' tappets all set at 6 inlet and 13 exhaust. (3 goes with shims until right), crank at true tdc with DTi, cam sprocket spot on with scribed line etc. All should be good, engine turns with good compression on all cylinders but when trying to see where full lift is(ie @105deg,) its no where near and the figure of 40 thou lift on inlet at tdc is miles off too. Can anyone confirm if standard and sport use different cam sprox? May have to set valve lift at proper place for sport and use multi sprocket to get crank in right place. Never had this bother before and built a zillion engines of all sorts.
