So since it failed to sell a second time it looks like it’s more likely to stay now! (Although may have to find a home outside rather than in my workshop!)
So I thought I’d check it out a bit more, seems like it’s actually fairly solid, and after looking at some of the work that others on here have had to do it’s not bad at all. The sump has been extended which is unusual (only engine I’ve had with that was my old 998! Why they thought they needed extra oil in it I don’t know) maybe it used to leak that much it was better having some extra in there in case ?.
The new old stock doors I have with it require a bit on the passenger side as in the pics, but it may well be easier to just cut that off the door that is on the car at the moment since it’s solid there. Suspension looks like it’s all there (minus a few bolts...) and actually looks fairly solid (been off the road since 1993 so probably to be expected). Needs a pair of half quarters and a pair of sills, small patch by crossmember and a tiny bit of work on the inner wheel arch but overall could be much worse!
