    Been thinking ......

Way back in 2001 I started getting into Imps

My dad had worked at Linwood before defecting to BMC Bathgate

And had a few in Scotland and in Ireland when we lived in Dublin in the early 80’s

My first a Californian sprint car was my first learner classic , made contacts and moved on to the Fraser race car and a few more .

    Why the post ?

Just been thinking that when I first started all this 20 years ago

Finding those rare bits were MUCH easier than now .

And prices are triple what they once were.

Good for overall car values of course

But my point is , every time I embark on another full restoration with all my favourite specialists (and friends) it gets harder !

Unless destitute, think this one will now be a keeper ?

And maybe one day a race car .......
