A tedious afternoon on the stiletto, more sanding, filling and primer, and repeat. And then if that wasn’t enough to drive me mad, I tried the door.

This door has always been a really bad fit, and after hours of messing about I figured it out. The top hinge didn’t allow adjustment upwards and looking at it it’s been like that from new! A file on a drill to open the holes properly, and it’s better. It’ll never be perfect, but it now shuts with one finger, and it fits the hole, it is close on the top corner though. I’ve also been drilling holes for the trim which has always been a mile out.
