So, an afternoon on the stiletto, and a frustrating one. Now it ran perfectly before I pulled it apart , the engine is all on multi plugs, I’ve not removed or cut any wiring. I put the engine in, connect up and it won’t go, no fuel pump.
I spent hours tracing wires, and wondering if the ecu had given up, and tracing the ecu pump output to the pump, through the car (possibly welded the cable??)? and end up at the front with no power. And then I see the cut out switch I fitted in case I crashed and rolled it into a ditch .....and of course I did roll it, but in a controlled environment!!!??? so I push the button, ‘CLICK’ and it goes. FFS.?
