Following on from Penshaw monument, a memorial in the style of an ancient Greek temple to Lord Lambton. This was Lambton D pit.(There was also a to E pits, along with Henry pit and Lady Ann pit, to the right of the old picture, hidden behind the pit baths).. Soon this area will be dream housing. Pictures taken were just an hour away from my Stiletto being collected and off to it's new home, hence farewell tour, or more correctly quick blast to the post office.
