Looking for recommendations. some of you will have seen my 998 engine coming on, now I am at the point where I would like to source/have done a lightened flywheel. Standard Imp 4 bolt obvs. The thought of sending a heavy flywheel off to have it machined kind of puts me off. I have a standard one at the mo and will be turning the ring gear on my final use flywheel, whatever it may be, so as the Austin maxi pre-engaged starter I will use will engage without the ring ting ting of the worn teeth from the inertia starter. Anyone have a ready made lightened one for sale plus carriage of course?? I could have done the mod myself but my lathe can't accomodate the diameter of the flywheel.
