Well the heated front screen is in. I thought fitting the Mk1 standard screen with Frank Schoenberger seal was a tough job but this slightly thicker glass, dear me it was a shit, tight as a ducks backside.
In though so thats DDG a bit closer to the road.
Evans called me before delivery and advised the factory had made an error in the terminals and fitted ribbons instead of the usual spades.
This was a bit of luck for a change as these fit almost perfect onto the chamois (or super) dash, placed just out of vent area and sits flat to the dash panel with the heavy terminal hiding behind the crash pads. Definitely better than catching your hand when cleaning the glass
