And on a fresh post......seatbelts.
The seatbelts in imps I really hate, and I’ve seen several ways of doing inertia reel, often they are extra long, the reel in the side pocket or on the arch. So whilst pondering in the garage, I was thinking of a way to get a top mount on the B post, and then glanced at the Datsun and remembered the solution!
Weld a strengthening plate on the inner roof with captive nut, and use a strap as in the Datsun! Strong, neat, and I’m sure a seat belt company could do easily????
