I’ve just dug out a driveshaft I bought ‘reconditioned’ some years ago - however, I’ve noticed that the UJ has a threaded hole for a grease nipple (shaft not relieved to accept one). Therefore - do I try to screw in a grease nipple from a front stub and pump it full of grease, then obtain some kind of blanking plug? If so, where do I get a plug and what is the size needed? If not... what? I don’t really want to grind/file the shaft to accept a nipple tbh. But what other options are there? Thanks
