A mechanic friend had been to his house to start a collection of classics and could not find the Gel motorsport battery on the imp. He called round to see me and asked for help. I ended up going to the house and collecting the car and removing the battery to use a proper charger and tester to ensure the battery was good. Fitted some new mirrors at the same time as he owner requested this. Now got the task of starting his other six classics and re-commissioning them ready for sale. THE IMP is not for sale. Never seen the car at a local show or on the road.

Could have been any of the above. So many cars and jobs been and gone since then. I remember being disappointed with the quality I was replacing like for like with the damaged ones.

I got mirrors just like that from Club Spares.
