With over riders on front or not ?

After seeing some picture from Bob Petowner I am actually considering fitting spots to the front of DDG with no over -riders and making use of Bobs idea for sport mounts to give that more "4" headlamp look.

I could move the over riders along but then they would invade the chamois grille space and i like the look of the grille.

The current bumpers on DDG are pretty bad, in fact they are junk however they are the only ones we have at present and £450 on a new polished stainless et in these times is out of the question.

google is full of images of imp front ends with different grilles.

Alternative is to actually paint the bumpers.

Move the over riders ! Then l'll see how it looks (l know you won't )
Save me making a mistake . at my cost., leave it to someone else to be the trail blazer.

Bob, going to give it a try, drilling my front bumper wont make it any worse

Getting closer to having it move under its own power and can get it turned around front facing out, at moment its only 2 ft from bench at end so cant really get a good front view
