Inspired by seeing the sorry state of the bumper on DDG I thought I'd have a quick look at the rear bumper on Mildred.
Quite poor, not shiny, pitted and poor all over.
I tried doing one half with metal foil, 0000 grade wire wool and some mothers metal polish.
Can't budge the pitting at all, needs a bit more polishing maybe with a polishing pad on a drill next, looks shiny enough from a distance but up close the pitting is very visible.
