Well after popping up to to John's on Sunday , Paul came round with his now running turbo Imp to show us it running once again with turbo number 3 in it.

Whilst it was ticking over on John's drive and still running I took the opportunity to jump in the passenger seat and go for a little run round the Stirling bypass and roundabouts with Paul at the wheel.
I was impressed, what a great sounding and running car with power from the off. To think it is a bog standard 875 with a turbo bolted on and fuelling through a Solex it is simply brilliant.

Well done Paul.. Hope it stays in there and reliability doesn't become an issue.

        Cheers
        Col.

              Paul,
Was good to see it running and sounding good. What an improvement over a standard 875.
I might buy my Imp engine back and a turbo kit from you
              Cheers

I was pleasantly pleased that there were no fire engines following you back to Johns house. :)

Can't wait for the waste gate to be opened up a bit and we hear it going a bit more.

Has the waategate been opened any further yet?
Haven't heard any sonic booms or mushroom clouds reported above the Stirling area lately on the six o'clock news

Was thinking same Colin, maybe he could manage a trip out on the next Wed meet, would be a bit dark but maybe get a few from Fife along for a look as well
