Well if you are going to mod an imp may as well do it impman65 style like Rob. He has kindly let me post a few pics of his Hillman imp conversion to a V8.



Some serious work involved here and we can keep a sneak preview


This is what is going in, a Rover V8 and I guess matching gearbox. back end Rob mentioned to day is a Sierra one and needs very llittle mods.

Some serious box section fabrication to be done





Front and tail ends now sourced



Not including all the rip out that needs to be done !

Work seems to be coming along nicely on Robs V8 impman65



Nice roof mod, first time seeing this for me, roof section welded inside the car as an inner "skin"



And the car has some colour
