After drilling two extra holes in Pats walls to move a light switch 
then fixing what was not broke in first place ....
As the old girl needed to be out the garage to clear it out mr paddy decided we should taka run to blow the dust off.
And it was made so.
Visit to mr C's to see his new Merc and the old girl was purring like a well fed kitty in front of the fire.

Of course daylight goes quick so the return trip was by "Imp Candle Light" headlamps.
Something very peaceful about Imp headlights and the colour, sort os same idea if using say valve amplifiers and new transistor based ones, the two are quite different animals.
And not a drip of water from the windscreen seal (Franks ones)
For a MK 1 with standard heater and rad configuration it was also nice and toasty inside.

Considering how bare the trim level is inside these early cars the quality of the drive and quiet inside is astounding.
