  • Stan : 1972 Hillman Imp Deluxe.

Somewhat modified since my purchase. I'm the 3rd owner : Originally bought by a man who lived in Carshalton, Surrey. Sold to a lady from the Brighton area, who eventually sold to me as they wanted to buy an E-Type. No accounting for taste, eh? I've been his guardian since 2003. Contract bought for £800, with 35,000 miles on the clock. He now has 75,000.Click image for larger version Name:	Stan at the bridge.jpg Views:	0 Size:	149.6 KB ID:	10462

40,000 in 17 years is pretty tame really. But ( don't tell anyone) most have been done at ten tenths !

Pat would disagree Andy, MK 1 original seats

We had the good sense to fit MGF seats in the chammy as miles are planned

The clear lenses suit the colour of the car. Very nice.

                Cheers

Attractive colour. I've been meaning to ask you what it is.

You made a great job of it.

Ah, John : The "reverse lights" are actually high intensity "Rain Lights". The colour is Aquarius Metallic. Standard Rootes/Chrysler colour. Most of it is original.

Some of you will have seen my refurbishments of Stans seats in APEX. Those that haven't might like this image of the buckets, stripped and re-upholstered in black brushed nylon. The "STAN" logo's were bought from eBay, and are embroidered on a black background.
