Floorboards , had obviously been up before our 84 move here , for central heating ,and one short length was split in middle of floor and bodged when put down ,so l'm putting 8ft x 2ft lengths of chipboard to replace , less bad joints than floorboards , ripped all skirting boards out and architrave round doors ,
Only need to do the job once then.
Only problem is , do l do Wickes today or tomorrow?
And thats insulation between downstairs and upstairs you can see.
Maybe a little bit of plastering , depends if l can get away with adhesive on new skirting boards .
Raining so can't do anything to Pet.

Ditching Sky now as l found it just about impossible to contact them now , go to automated questions and answers ,that will solve most queries , ok but what about the ones that don't fall into that category , HARD LUCK !!!
For what l see as mainly an online supplier they don't have option of chat online , evidently if you're fit and healthy they won't talk to you on the phOne either .
All l want is to replace faulty router , HOPELESS!!!!!!

Total pain in the rear, I have tried to call to cancel since last April and cant get through, so I wrote to them instead, no reply except to put the price up !
So plan B simply switch to a new broadband provider, some cracking deals available at present and of course as long as you are out of contract with sky your new broadband provider will cancel with sky automatically when they take over the service.
I switched to vodafone and managed to save money, cancel sky without speaking to anyone and get phone support if needed no problem.
I am not normally one for conspiracies but how many folks are being forced to keep subscriptions they dont want or because of furlogh or loss of job need to cancel an expensive TV package but cannot as they cannot get through to Sky !

Yeah ! i was looking around for who to change to simply because there appeared to be no real way of contacting Sky , much of a muchness who you go to really , decided on Plus net as it all appeared to be UK based , owned by BT (don't like them) but it was cheaper that BT anyway , then l noticed you got a discount with EE if you had an account for mobile , that sounded good so went through all the hastle of filling out details then on the last page it said
"you cannot keep your home phone number with this deal" Sod that i thought .
Day after l got a call from EE approaching me about accepting me as new broadband & home phone customer , they really slagged off Plus Net and kept on going on about cooling off period and should join them , i said your system said l couldn't keep my original number to which she said "oh that's wrong , you can "well your site said l couldn't so l've gone with someone else so sort your web site out , Don't mind anyone saying they are better than competition but slagging them off is out of order , so l've got brand new computer now and new broadband provider to go with it .
