Top Tip # 001 - PM System made easy
Thos used to other forum software may find the PM system a little different, perhaps even un-inuative when in reality it is very simple, it is intended not to work as old clunky PMs did but more of like a chat window so you see from and to messsages in line.
This more familiar system, same as skype, FB Messenger even just texts is intende dto give a more popular up to date experience.
So to start with ;)
Top right hand side of page is the Messages Drop down button.
Click and select "Go To Message Centre"
Once there click "inbox"
Your messages will appear (apologies for bad highlight bug in dark theme at moment)
If you click on the subject text below the user name next to their avatar, it should launch the familiar post/reply screens and look just like the forum itself.
So off you go in familiar territory
2nd method (one I prefer which is why I missed the highlight error ! )

Click and select "THE SUBJECT" whcih is usually the first item(s) listed
This launches a second small window 9like FB messenger) and thats you direct to your "chat"
