Friday lunch, beef satay day

Mildred not as yet fixed, so single car day for Friday lunch. Think we will see if we can recruit more poeple to turn up while weather is good

Mildred looks like float valve sticking plus it had no crush washer.

Decided to check everything, compression a healthy range, going to chnge coil and condenser anyway, points look fine.

Carb rebuild with new valve and should be good to go.

Note to self, old cars fuel gauges lie, aldo never rely on the filament dash lamps for the electric fuel pump interlock, if the lamp goes it turns off teh pump rleay and you end up pushing it last 50m back to home !
