Hillman Imp Forums Android App is Now Released on Google Play ready for test.

If you are using an android device please download and install the app from Google Play.

This "should" give you direct access from your mobile device, click for pic, add text, post

Sorry i missed the 18th deadline, quality check time and google approval/sdigital signing of the app simply takes time.

Just search " Hillman Imp Forums " on google play on your portable device to find the app, it is a very basic app but should help cut out the picture transfer step when putting up a post

OK, already found a few issues, to start things looked good but I seem to have hit a permissions issue for replies when images dont come through.

Everything seems OK for new topics, only subsequent replies the atachment dissapears

Colin, you should be able to type message, hit paper clip to attach, see a thumbnail and then post with attachment. I can get that to work as a new topic, but replies are behaving differently and I have no idea why as yet.

The ultinate goal is new topic, click pic, add text, done straight from the phone

Cheers Andy, end goal is a lookup manual on mobile devices but with up to date solutions. Might be my own phone as I have it locked down pretty tight however i am still seeing an issue.

I can pick a category, start a new topic, press the paper clip attach, press camera, take a picture and post it but my picture does not come through.

Seems to be working for you and Colin but not for me so I need to find out why and fix it as i just know someone else will have the problem.

Anything you feel needs change just let me know and me or Michael will fix it.
