I have recently been asked why register here at all as there seems no change to what is seen.
THIS IS TRUE and is by design as this is a "Community Site" and by that I mean users post content so other may read and see their work.
It also gives free access to information supplied by the kindness of others in pretty much the same way a website does for example https://www.imps4ever.info/ or Andys site http://www.imps.me.uk/
So what you can do with registering
Read all of the content.
It is all free, no one is paid for any work here and information is supplied for the collective good of the community
Donations are accepted though
What do you get once registered
You can post messages, replies, create your own content, articles, news and so on.
You can control your own content, your content is yours, feel free to edit, update or delete as you see fit.
Use all of the board features, instant messaging to other users, private messages and so on.
Download and use the forums mobila App for Android for notifications on the move (its not great but does the deed)
How do you register, the process
Fill in a short form, simple questions, you are nearly done.
You will be required to consent to data storage as we must all now live with GDPR requirements, you can control this at any time yourself from your User Control panel..
You will receive an email with activation codes, please confirm your identity by reply to the email link.
Accounts not confirmed via email link will be auto deleted after 30 days
Ability to create Topics / Articles and then directly share them to your Facebook Timeline or to your favourite Facebook Group so actually you can post once, then simply send it over to Facebook, no creating the Topic twice.
Same for Twitter
Other than that off you go.
General low volume traffic use comment
Just a general comment, not a rule.
Other than views which include public visits to that web page, if you read something and like it, press the like button, it lets the user who has contributed the content or article that you appreciate their efforts.
The like button is not really a big thing, but we do all say please and thank you in real life so it translates very well i think to forums. Its the one think
