  • Vusky oil filler

Vuskys oil fillers gone rusty yet again - and keeps going rusty

I guess a combo of oil and occasionally condensation from short trips kills it off .

So the way forward was obviously stainless and after a bit of hunting about a long radiator neck.

I butchered a spare oil filler and got the bracket off it and brazed it onto the rad filler having removed the overflow - also brazed up the hole , neck was slightly too slim in diameter so a sleeve was made using a steering rack end gaiter cut down ( bound to be oil proof stuff ) then it was just a case of spraying the bracket and fitting it
