With Imps being small and low ( sometimes very low ) having an extra high level brake light seemed a must in this day and age .
I tried various modern LED ones that stick to the window and these of course work very well but somehow the look just didnt match the age of the car so I decided to design and make my own from bits .
Main body is a capacitor cover for a mains motor , mounting bracket is a door window stop fitted to early cars , lens was cut from a larger lens and the internal tail tail light a bit of red screwdriver handle mounted in a small LED holder .
Wiring is dead easy , you just take a supply from the drivers side rear brake light ,
Anyway any modern LED high level brake light will work fine if you dont want to be a fuss pot like me
