  • Separate brake and clutch reservoirs

Theres a few reasons to do this .
The factory split reservoir is tiny by anyones standard so theres very little reserve capacity if you have a slight leak
The position of the factory one makes it very vulnerable so even a slight knock in the wrong place should shear off the factory rubber joints and render what could otherwise be a driveable car totally useless
And finally having a larger separate capacity means you can bleed / change the fluid without the need to top up every 6 pumps .
I used Girling ones as they are period but you can get plastic motorsport ones almost everywhere.
Mount on the inner wheelarch by making your own brackets .
I used the original location to move the washer bottle - a post on this will follow next time

I like the Girling reservoirs, as Dave says look period.

Another one of your ideas/improvements that was noted and carried out on the building of The Pest Dave although positioned in a different place but result is the same.

Yes l have carried out this mod , but mistake was that l hadn't got blower pipe in position so l need to move reservoirs slightly to the right
