    Il try and do a few of these but heres the first

    Early cars had a Lucas 2ST starter solenoid however it changed a fair few times over the years . Always had the number 76464 but the changes had a letter added on the end .
    One on the left is dated 4 66 and is letter H . One on the right is 2 64 and is letter F .
    Both draw exactly 4A when the solenoid is energised .
    Later cars used the square 4ST - 76766 , Early ones had the red remote button , later and copy ones dont
    More useless crap next week

    Something else I did not know there was a date code on, mine are later so off to hunt an early one for the 63 .

      Typically date will be a month or so earlier than the build date of your car , They are also stamped as 12V or 6V
